RAW BANANA CURRY


Hi friends today i made healthy raw banana subji. This is a new addition in the regular daily food. I hope you would like it.

INGREDIENTS:


  • Raw banana - 3 
  • Onion - 1 medium (chopped)
  • Curry leaves - 4 to 6
  • Green chill - as per taste
  • salt - as per taste
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder - as per taste 
  • Red chili flacks 
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Asafoetida (hing) - pinch   
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp 
  • Mango powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1/2 tsp 
  • Oil -- 1 tbsp (i use mustard oil, you can use anyone)


 METHOD:
  • Peel the skin of raw banana and cut in to the round shape. Keep immersed in lemon water .
                                         
  • Heat oil in a cooking pan add cumin seeds , heeng and mustard seeds.
                                          

  • Once mustard seeds start cracking, add onion, curry leaves ( if u want add green chili also) and  fry till onion turns brown.
  • Then add turmeric powder , coriander powder stir it .
                                                 
  • Now add banana, red chili powder, salt and mix it well. Add 1 tbsp water cook covered for 3 min on medium flame.

             

  • When banana becomes soft keep frying to crisp the banana.
  • At last add mango powder , garam masala and chili flacks. Mix it well.
                                               

                  
  • Its ready to serve with hot hot phulkas.
