Hi friends today i made healthy raw banana subji. This is a new addition in the regular daily food. I hope you would like it.
INGREDIENTS:
- Raw banana - 3
- Onion - 1 medium (chopped)
- Curry leaves - 4 to 6
- Green chill - as per taste
- salt - as per taste
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Red chili powder - as per taste
- Red chili flacks
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Asafoetida (hing) - pinch
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Mango powder - 1 tsp
- Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
- Oil -- 1 tbsp (i use mustard oil, you can use anyone)
METHOD:
- Peel the skin of raw banana and cut in to the round shape. Keep immersed in lemon water .
- Heat oil in a cooking pan add cumin seeds , heeng and mustard seeds.
- Once mustard seeds start cracking, add onion, curry leaves ( if u want add green chili also) and fry till onion turns brown.
- Then add turmeric powder , coriander powder stir it .
- Now add banana, red chili powder, salt and mix it well. Add 1 tbsp water cook covered for 3 min on medium flame.
- When banana becomes soft keep frying to crisp the banana.
- At last add mango powder , garam masala and chili flacks. Mix it well.
- Its ready to serve with hot hot phulkas.
