TANDOORI ROTI WITH OUT OVEN



INGREDIENTS:
  • WHEAT FLOUR - 2 CUP
  • BAKING SODA - 1/2 TSP
  • SUGAR - 1TSP
  • OIL - 1/2 TBSP
  • SALT - AS PER TASTE
  • CURD- 2 TBSP
  • WATER - AS REQUIRED

 METHOD:

  • Mix all the ingredients together make a soft, smooth dough.
  • Now cover the dough with wet cloth let it sit for at least half an hour.
  • After half an hour take dough and make a small round ball. roll it in a round flat roti by dusting some flour to form a thick roti.
  • Now apply little water on the surface and its time to cook the roti.
  • Heat roti tawa and put the roti on tawa to cook it.keep the wet surface down , in contact with tawa. till this roti is cooked , roll out another one.
  • The upper surface of the roti has turn darker it means roti is cooked from the bottom side.
  • Now we will turn the tawa over to cook the roti directly over the flame.

  • Cook it till you see the brown spot appear. Cook all sides of the roti. 
  • Now remove the roti from the tawa . cook all the roti like this.
  • Apply butter or ghee on the roti.
  • Tandoori roti ready to serve .
